Day 1: Arrive in Fairbanks

Day 2: Fairbanks/Denali

July 10, 2013

Today, you'll enjoy a Riverboat cruise down the Chena River.  Then, sightsee by motor coach to the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge for an evening at leisure.


Day 3: Denali

July 11, 2013

This morning, travel into the park on a Natural History Tour.  The remainder of the day is free to choose excursions or just relax at the lodge.


Day 4: Denali/Mt. McKinley

July 12, 2013

Enjoy a morning at leisure.  Then, board a motor coach for the scenic journey to the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge for the night.


Day 5: Mt. McKinley/Whittier/Diamond Princess

July 13, 2013

Transfer to Talkeetna by motor coach and board the McKinley Express rail directly to your awaiting ship in Whittier.  Set sail this evening at 8:30 p.m. aboard the beautiful Diamond Princess.


Day 6: Scenic Cruising, Hubbard Glacier from 3:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The face of this massive glacier is six miles wide, and the glacier itself is 76 miles long and over 40 stories tall.


Day 7: Scenic Cruising, Glacier Bay National Park from 9:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

National Park Service rangers board the ship and spend the day with you pointing out calving glaciers, wildlife including sea otters, whales, harbor seals and bald eagles.


Day 8: Skagway, Alaska from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

July 16, 2013

This former gold rush town boasted the shortest route to the Klondike and over 20,000 residents.  Today, it is home to about 1,000 people and still retains much of its fold rush flavor.


Day 9: Juneau, Alaska from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

July 17, 2013

The capital city of Alaska, Juneau is famous for gold & government, as well as breathtaking glaciers and stunning scenery.  Juneau is only accessible via boat or plane.


Day 10: Ketchikan, Alaska from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

July 18, 2013

Be intrigued by Ketchikan's native heritage and hand-carved totem poles.  This is also a sportfishing mecca, known as the "Salmon Capital of the World."
